Standard Rates

Translation (per target language word): £0.08 per word - for non-technical, general text documents;

£0.09 per word - technical/specialized;

£0.09 per word - for E-mail translation within 2-4 hours. 

£20 - Minimum charge

The above are rates for text documents, submitted and returned electronically, with no formatting required, non-urgent. A 15% surcharge is applied to urgent translations or proofreadings (within 24 hours).

Interpreting: start from £35 / hr.  plus travel charges (travel expenses + travel time £10/hr.). 

Contract rates are available.

Proofreading: £25 / hr. 

DELIVERY

Upon the requirements completed Orders will be posted by 1st class mail Royal Mail. Recorded Signed For or via Next Day Royal Mail Special at extra charge.

You will receive a competitive quotation based upon your specifications.

TURNAROUND TIME

Our general turnaround time up to 2,000 words   2-3 business days. Sometimes the length of time required may be slightly longer or shorter depending upon the requirements of each project.

Notes:

It is generally accepted that a translator can translate about 1500-2000 words per day (for normal 8-hour working day). If you require a shorter deadline - a project team can be set up with two or more translators.
